Mine were cut out and replaced entirely with panels from another car 
(actually, they came from Junior Wilson's race car).

How much do you need to attend to?   About the worst I've ever seen is havin 
to replace the whole affair from about the upper A-arm mount, down.

FWIW I have a home video that shows step-by-step how PJ Couillard in Vermont 
did the job, on his own car.   Get it touch with me off-line and I try to make 
a copy for you.
