[DeTomaso] Earliest Outside Gas Filler ?

If you really want to get fancy and spend a ton of time, I can tell you how I modified my Pantera so the entire gill is hinged and opens to reveal the gas filler.  There is no hole cut in the gill, so I think it looks even better than the ones with the hinged, round cut-out.
 
Hint:  I used the cable and release lever from a Honda and a gas-filler door hinge from a Ford Tempo.  And I had the gas tank out when I did the modification...
