[DeTomaso] Best valve spring compressor

I took a few pics for Paul, the rest of you will have to use your imagination.

The compressor has two threads, you can take it apart and reassemble it to change between them. The threads are 3/8" and 7/16". As we need 5/16" I had a threaded piece made with 11/16" and 5/16" threads. I also took an old handle I had laying around and threaded it with 3/8". This is a tremendous help when working on the cylinders furthest forward in the car. As Paul mentioned the angle of the retainer pushing part is not correct but some precision violence took care of that. If you have the same tool you can see what difference the angle I have makes.
