[DeTomaso] IR EFI Sensor

Will,
I take it you're not going to use the long filters and just use individual cap type filters or none at all. I was just reading about this last night. I have a car with one of Dennis Qs older systems. The Haltech manual says to mount the air temp sensor in the airflow that will be the same temp as what goes into the cylinder and to avoid letting the sensor heat sink and read block/manifiold metal temps. Not much beyond that. So it sounds like a stack mount would be OK. But what do I know...I'm just now starting to try to figure out how it all works. It has a center mounted single fuel rail with early style injectors. I think it looks better and Dennis Q said it works fine, it's just what they did back then. It also has a mixture adjustment knob on the dash for quick changes if needed. Still learning here.

I definately think any discussion with Mike or anyone else who designs and builds the IR-EFI systems seems to me to be a smart idea.> > fwiw> > Dawg> > Paul - Home <thedrol at pobox.com> wrote:> I believe the systems that Dennis sold were similar to the the stuff > that TWM Induction manufactures.
