[DeTomaso] Removal of pipe plugs when 351C heads are hot-tank cleaned?

When headwork is to be done on old dirty heads and the machinist will be
hot-tank cleaning them, should the 3 water jacket pipe plugs be removed
during the hot-tank process or should these be left intact?  These are the
three large pipe plugs screwed into the casting between the row of valve
springs and the
exhaust side of the rocker cover rail.  What say ye?
