If you have no need for Nomex, you might want to try something like this:  http://www.uscav.com/Productinfo.aspx?productid=8550&TabID=548  an unlined version is available.  Back in the day, we used to wear unlined black leather gloves to keep the chill off of our hands when outside during cooler weather, yet still have the dexterity to use a flashlight, cuffs etc.  The gloves I wore were so form fitting you could pick up a dime off of a table when the gloves were worn.  I used to own several pairs of Damascus unlined black leather gloves, the gloves are snug and are almost like a second skin.  Those days are long gone now, it became politically incorrect to wear black leather gloves, sad but true.
