You mean those gay thin calfskin gloves with the little boy-racer holes in them? I never heard of them! ;-]>

You either need to sell your Pantera, have surgery to remove your sweaty glands or start working out so your hands don't slip on the steering wheel..... or my personal best advise is buying the Precision ProFormance quick-release hub and MOMO steering wheel that is covered in black suede (yea, also gay) but it feels excellent and at the end of the day you can take it in the house and practice your GRIP strength! ;-]>

Having gone through my own 11 months of new owner hell...fixing everything
in site...I finally have the car at a point where it is truly
driveable...God it feels good to be able to trust the car!!!!

So...I took off at the crack of dawn yesterday and had a wonderful 250 miles
round trip down to Watsonville and back...down via 35 and 9 on the peninsula
and back via the Pacific Coast Highway...really nice...light traffic in both
directions...got to boogy on several occasions...avoided the law...and they
are all over 17.

Anyway...it was fairly cold in the morning so I wore unlined "dress" gloves
to keep my hands warm. Only to discover that my grip on the wheel was
VASTLY improved. Making me wonder why I have never ever ever worn driving
gloves before...except in the dead of winter back east in my misspent youth.
Ski gloves hardly qualify as..."wow i can really feel the wheel..." I ended
up wearing the dress gloves all the way home even though it was 80F. No
sweaty palms...no slipping on the wheel...but they are a bit bulky for
"fingertip" type touch situations while driving.

So...I'm asking...what do people wear...and/or recommend...for real driving
gloves... I'm not looking for full Nomex gauntlet racing gloves...

Thanks
