Trevor,
Check Fuse #10 (third from the bottom). This fuse powers the Headlamp Motor,
the AC/Heater Fan, and the AC Temp Control Switch. If Fuse #10 is blown the
headlamp doors will not move and the AC/Heater Fan will not run.

The upper portion is the door controls and lower portion is the lamp
controls. The lamps are powered direct from the battery. Anytime the headlamps are
on, the door relay will be energized.

This diagram shows how the limit switches control the door movement and
position. The diagram also includes the Ignition Switch and Headlamp Switch
positions which are required for each headlamp door condition. All of the wires
(and therefore the voltages) pertinent to the motor control are accessible at
the limit switch terminal.
The door switch diagram shows the sequence of door motor voltages from Doors
Closed, Doors Opening, Doors Open, and Doors Closing. All of these voltages
are available at the limit switch terminals.
In probing circuits where the connections are insulated, grind or file the
meter leads to a very thin sharp point and push the lead thru the insulation
of the wire. Be VERY careful not to give yourself a vaccination while doing
the probing.
Hope this helps. Let me know what you find.
Have fun,
SOBill Taylor
