In my case, I had no problems shipping my car to the UK; on the way back, 
somebody swiped the windshield wiper blades?????  But remember, somebody has to 
load and unload the car from the container, and if they feel like vandalizing 
it, they will.  Also, perhaps surprisingly, there is a higher incidence of 
damage to cars shipped in containers vs. RORO, so it's actually safer to ship it 
outside a container.

In any case, I found *excellent* service with Ron at Seabridge International 
(410) 633-0550.  That was for shipping from the US to overseas.  
Unfortunately, he couldn't set anything up for the return leg, but he hooked me up with his 
contact at the other end, who was similarly excellent.

Don't screw around with e-mails.  Just pick up the phone and see what you can 
do.
