[DeTomaso] Quick tach adapter question

Hi guys,

Doing some parts-chasing for an English Deauville owner.

Presuming the wiring scheme is the same as for the Pantera, would it be 
appropriate for him to install an MSD 8920 tach adapter, when his car has an MSD 6 
ignition box and a Mallory Unilite distributor?
