[DeTomaso] Panteras for sale

I agree totally. For years on this forum, every time a car is offered
for sale on E-Bay or somewhere else a volley of negative comments
follow. The Pantera was introduced in an atmosphere of negative
reporting by the press and has had an uphill battle since. Why would
someone want to purchase a Pantera when even the owners bash them?
It was mentioned that the Ferrari GTO with a production of 26 is valued
in the millions yet the beautiful GT5-S with a production slightly three
times as great still sells for less than 100k. I say that is pathetic.
Even my 6-cyl '54 Corvette has topped the 100k mark with a production of
nearly 4000 and that is pathetic.
Let those prices rise to what ever level they will. Be glad you have one
and if you don't, save your money and you might afford one. Everyone is
complaining about the lack of appreciation of the Pantera. Nobody
appreciates something that sells for peanuts. Human nature holds those
things of high value as something to be desired. I hate to say it but
Corvettes prices have been on the rise for years. The only people I have
heard bashing them are Pantera owners.
Tell people Panteras are good and represent a true value. Tell them too
that they are expensive.
