[DeTomaso] Deck Lid thingee needed

Let me rephrase that....

Under normal conditions, with normal drivers, normally driving, it will 
never, ever break... Actually it will never, ever break in the way that 
yours broke (the original welded coat hanger wire to recycled beer can plate 
version) since the replacements from the vendors are made quite 
differently....

Another thought about breakage here, is that if the vendor replacement part 
breaks, it might indicate that the body is flexing too much... and might 
need some reinforcement; seam welding, stiffening kit, or whatever...

However, as to how Larry broke his.... that I leave to the definition of 
"normal"... and we all may not want to go there...
