I don't know why people keep asking about these boat anchors.  Out of th box they do not make any more power than a set of iron heads.

If you are looking to make power I say go with CHI's

CHI's took 5 out of the 6 top spots in The Engine Masters Competition last year.

My CHI headed 427 Clevor makes 713 hp @ 7000 RPM on pump gas(93 octane).  It has a 10.5 to 1 compression ratio and uses the 3V 218cc intake runner version.  In fact my motor made so much power that the engine builder revised his guaranteed HP on my package upwards of another 25 hp more than previously advertised.

There is NO COMPARISON between EDELBROCK CLEVELAND'S and CHI's
