[DeTomaso] Lokar Pantera oil dipstick

Back in February I engaged the tech @ Lokar to build me up a new dipstick
and tube. They said the tech who used to make the flexible ones from
speedo type cable is gone and they have no more stock.

He says later this year they will get some new felxible cable in.

I ended up fabing a new dip stick tube and bracket to clear my high valve
covers.

If you get better news from them please let me know

Hello Ralph,

All of the dimensions that you requested can be replicated with the
exception of the length. If you want the dipstick to make a 90 degree bend
like the stock one it will not work with the current material that we use
for the inner rod. We design these to go from the block or pan straight up
to the header bolt. Please call me at 877-469-7440 ext 8900 so that we can

Here are the dimensions and supporting pics for the pantera oil dipstick.

Critical measurements:
1. Dipstick tube dia - .375"
2. Dimensions of tube length below where it enters the block - 9-14/16
3. Dipstick measurements below the bottom of the tube:15/16 to top of
safe,1-13/16 to bottom of safe / add, 2-10/16 total length below bottom of
tube

Other measurements:

4. total dipstick tube length 36.25"
