[DeTomaso] I need some help with parts!

Steve -- Careful with what you say in public. The TPR Pantera Rescue Squad
could show up at your door and take your car for not driving it the way it
was intended to be driven. They'll call you a sissy boy, too. It's not a
pleasant experience. I suggest that you take the car for a drive in the
twisties this weekend to scrub some metal off your front rotors. There will
be an inspection on Monday.

What is supposed to be wrong with the rotors. I can't imagine wearing out
the front rotors.

Steve

Actually, the Mustang rotors are SLIGHTLY larger (like .030" radius) than
the stock rotors. The Mike Thomas article on the swap is excellent. My
only advice is when ordering from SSBC, specify 66' rotors to be safe, as I
recall from my failing memory there was a mid year change in 67' on the
outer bearing sizes. A photo of my rotor/caliper fitment can be seen here

Check this months POCA newsletter for the Jack Stand article about a bolt-up
swap with SSBC's vented rotors.

As I recall Parapantera in Portland says that 67 Mustang hub/rotor
assemblies are a direct replacement. The wheel studs would be American

the rotor is a smaller diameter, which means that part of the pad hangs
out over the top of the rotors. That doesn´t make it ´right´in my
opinion.

Somebody tell me if I´m wrong about this?

Mike
