Yes- as well as almost all hot-rodders and pro racers since WW2. Aluminum AN 
fittings work fine at routine pressures up to 3000 psi- which is over 2 times 
what a healthy modified Pantera brake system will develop. These fittings are 
right out of miltary and commercial aircraft but are NOT DOT-approved for 
highway use. Mostly because no one has taken the time to jump thru the bureacratic 
hoops and provide the enormous sums of money for the DOT to  officially test 
them. In the rear of the Pantera, aluminum bulkhead fittings may be vulnerable 
to cracking from heavy-footed owners climbing in the engine bay to access the 
engine, so if you use them there, be careful scrambling around. FWIW- J DeRyke
