[DeTomaso] Speaking of Wiring Diagram's

What are the thoughts on putting a universal replacement harness from Painless Wiring, a 18 circuit one is only $354 last time I checked. Has anyone Done this ?  Pat Orlando 1972 Yellow Pantera S/N 4011.
