Will,
     One thing you might want to check before pulling the trans,  is the
harmonic balancer.  I know it is a long shot but,  years ago my car had what
I thought was a miss.  I replaced spark plugs,  rotor,  and cap before I
noticed the balancer was egg shaped!  After replacing my balancer,  my miss
was gone.
