[DeTomaso] News from Mike Fielder, Cross-Ram manifold and 351C Belt drives

I think if you look at the total cost, you could build a tunnel ram based EFI system for about the same.  Personally, I think the tunnel ram looks pretty good (just my opinion) and I think clears the engine cover.  If you want to drive a lot, I think the EFI makes the car much more liveable, especially with $4 a gallon gas.
   
  There was an 8.2 deck cross ram on eBay a little while back:

  If there is enough interest, maybe they (who ever that is) would cast one for a cleveland.
