That much movement will likely give you far more caster than needed for an 
early  street Pantera. But of course, you can adjust some back out with the 
shim-pack. Our '72 L, with roughly 1/4" of movement via offset bushings at the 
upper a-arms only, gives 5+ degrees which I've found ideal with 245-50 front 
tires. Even wider tires on post-'80- wide body cars may be able to use more 
caster. And contrary to recent posts, our extra-caster Pantera does have detectably 
heavier steering than stock, but not beyond the physical capabilities of a 
small female senior-citizen driver for the 6-hr run to 'Vegas from our home. 
Running front wheels with the proper scrub radius (e,g- 8" Campagnolos) also 
noticably lightens the steering when compared to 7" Campys or aftermarket wheels 
with the same offsets as 7" Campys. Cheers- J Deryke
