Maybe Dizzy shear pin?  Could bad timing cause the vib?

Well, it's not the fouled plugs. Changed them and it's still shaking.
Going to check the engine mounts and restore to the way it was last year.
Next, I'll remove the ZF again and check the flywheel.

Yes- the engine will 'miss'. Running on 7 cylinders even intermittently, any
V-8 will shake. Over- or under-tightened engine mounts will also likely
cause
a shake, as will plugged carb jets, excess ignition advance, etc. Garage
work
