Hi Dick,
I have seen a seal get ripped during bleeding. What happens is that the
peddle goes down lower then normal. When this happens the piston goes deeper
into MC. There may be some crud/crap/gunk build up in this area that the
piston normally does not travel. During bleeding you have a habit of pushing
the peddle to far in. The seal the hits this build up and rips it.
Just a maybe.
