[DeTomaso] NPC - Another Enzo Bites The Dust

I worked a couple of days on this movie.  First the owner of the car,  also 
the Producer, is a car collector.  He also had a, I think Swedish car,  on the 
set.  The name escapes me at the moment.  More than likely, the  car is 
insured by both the Production company making the movie as well as of  course his 
own insurance.  Second I can promise you that after the abuse  the car went 
through by actors and stunt drivers by the time it goes back to the  factory to be 
repaired and rebuilt, it will be in better shape than what it was  after the 
movie finished shooting a few months ago.  They beat the shit out  of those 
cars.  On the forum we have talked about letting people drive our  Panteras.  
Well think about a 20 something want to be actor that has never  even heard of 
these cars getting in one.  Yes they are supervised by  someone the owner 
hires, but shit happens.  One of the days I was on the  show they burned out the 
clutch on the Enzo.
 
As I said, it will be in better shape when the factory is done with  it.  And 
as someone else said earlier, the publicity is well worth  it.  After the 
movie hits DVD sales the Producer will more than get his  money out of it.
