Thanks Will,
I like the cat idea but, he's a little skittish and probably won't hold still long enough!

You could spray the rattle can into the cap and use a brush.
If you don't want to mess up the cap, spray it into something else. Don't
use a Styrofoam cup. Been there. Don't use your wife's measuring cup.
Been there too. Don't use the cat. Haven't been there, but I've thought
about it.
With as little paint as you need, you could just spray a piece of paper.
Will.

Thanks Nick,
I'll keep that in mind. The hobby shop is closer than Nordstroms or K-Mart
so, I'll try Freds idea first.
Did she happen to tell you the name of the manufacturer and color?

I had a secretary that had the right color nail polish. It was easy
and lasted longer than she did.
Nick
Thanks
Fred,
I'll try some.
Jim
Instead of using a spray that will
require maskong, try a small bottle
of Testors florescent red that is
available at all hobby shops.

Classic Gauges that have red/orange needles. I'm keeping the stock speedo
and
tach and only changing the faces to white. I bought some rattle can

paint,

But I'm wondering if others out there who have gone the same route have
some
advice? Different type of paint or finish?
