[DeTomaso] Fwd: StopLight Camera License Plate Diffusers Beware!

I think running a red light is just plainly stupid and much too dangerous
for the innocent people that might get hurt and I do not condone nor
advocate suck reckless behavior.

BUT I also think getting a questionable ticket (i.e. Entering when the
intersection is undergoing a green-yellow-red change ) is even more stupid
and getting that ticket through an automated system that has no cognitive
ability to discern between a close call and a not so close call regarding
the position of the car in the intersection and the nebulous manner in which
the laser is aimed ( to be fair or to more likely ......increase city
revenue ) is even MORE EVIL.

So having to select between the lesser of two evils, I have to side with
defeating technology with even more technology, after all, one of the
largest sellers of Radar detectors was the same parent company that made
radar guns.

My fair city just dropped another 120K on 4 more intersection camera set ups
because the three that they had in place made 360K profit last year after
paying for themselves.

I also think that drivers licenses should be harder to get, even harder to
keep and that all drivers should be forced to undergo performance driving
training and....

anybody who drives and lays back so far that they can been seen through the
rear passenger window and only slightly above the door sill should be
riddled with .50 cal machine gun fire on general principle as well as being
an embarrassment to mankind and motoring in general.
