[DeTomaso] ansa guts

My memory is:

The mindtrain exhaust was ear splitting loud and higher pitched.
The Magna Flow's were lower pitched. These are the PI mufflers on Steve's
car.
The gutted Ansas were only slightly louder at idle, but higher pitched and
throatier. They make the car sound like it has a larger cam, even though I
don't think those cars had larger cams.

David

Ideally, Gray will chime in and set the record straight. Your yarn is
pretty convincing though. Of course, I pulled the data from our Dyno Day
spreadsheet. We didn't qualify Gray's exhaust as other than stock and I
seem to recall surprise at the high end numbers. You car's gutted Ansa
results were similar to mine.
