Here's a message I got from Dan Lee re the EFI on the 434 engine on  Ford 
Muscle:

I have found that the Cobra TB doesn't flow well  enough for my application. 
It appears to be the equivalent to a 600CFM carb. I  am considering an Accufab 
replacement.

The motor produced 511 HP with a  750CFM Demon carb, but considerably less 
with the TB. I also have a sharp right  turn in my Air Intake, that could cause 
some of that loss.

The 90mm  Lightning MAF is capable of supporting 540 HP.
