Will,

Pops bought his house in the bergs of Cleveland around 1950 for $10,000. 
Normal 50's bungalow on city lot. It is up for sale right now 100K.

In 1970 I bought a 1966 Chevelle convertible, 6 cyl with blown trans for 
$15. I was very happy when I sold it for $375 a year latter. That was until 
I saw one sell at BJ this year for 30K.
