There are a lot of those "what ifs".  I remember seeing an ad in one of the
car magazines in the late '60's where Delmo Johnson in Ft. Worth was selling
his Grand Sport (one of only 5) Corvette, less engine, for $5,800.  I think
the last time one of those actually changed hands recently it was for like
$3 mil.
