You are correct: the Ford OEM PCV system has two  hoses.
 
One hose goes from the Air Cleaner to the passenger side valve  cover at the 
oil filler cap. This hose provides filtered air into the valve  
cover/crankcase.
 
The second hose comes from the PCV fitting on the driver side  valve cover 
and goes directly to full manifold vacuum on the intake  manifold.
 
The PCV fitting is a calibrated vacuum leak designed to pull vapors  out of 
the crankcase and burn them in the engine.
