When I visited the Motorsport International Show in Birmingham in january
I talked to these guys. Their seats are very light and thin.

I too need new seats, but since I've not been able to work on my Pantera
for years (yeah, shame on me...) I haven't thought much about them since.
As this discussion came up, maybe it's time. If anyone have first hand
experience with them, please speak up.

Guys:

At long last I've got the cabin about finished... In fact it was so
"finished" that I installed one of my seats to test for clearance, and fit
for the new seat belt inertial reel.

Unfortunately, I also learned that I need new seats. Not that there's
anything wrong with my current seats.... Except they were
rebuilt/reupholstered for someone that's about 5' 5" or so tall...

And I'm 6' 5" tall. If I don't mind having my head crammed into the
headliner... and my knee's into the dash... they're great. Unfortunately
that's not a workable driving position for more than 30 seconds... Whoever
had my seats rebuilt/reupholstered created a seat that I sit "on", not
"in"....

In my first Pantera, in 1973, I had the original seats, and I fit into
them just fine. I put 50,000 miles on that car in 2 years. No problems
with head height, or knees, or anything like that. I'm 6'5", but I'm a
well proportioned 6'5" (as far as a Pantera is concerned....).

So what I need from you guys is your recommendations on which seats to
look at, to purchase. I need as much head room, and leg room as possible.
I don't want to drop the floor pans, since that's a lot of work, and it
wasn't necessary in my first Pantera (also I've just finished installing
my new sound proofing and insulation on the floor. Tearing it all up would
be a real pain.. and I just don't think it's necessary).

I want a seat that fits me, and everything else is secondary.

Thanks for your time and help --as always,

Chris
