[DeTomaso] Speedo Noise

I'd simply try a bottle of speedo cable lube to start with.   
Seriously, go to Napa and buy a tube, remove one end of the cable,  
apply bunches, and re-attach the cable.  If that doesn't do it,  
replace the cable.
