Jack,

I would have to check the service receipts, but the car is currently running some kind of non-stock (large cap?) distributor with no external module. It has been pretty much trouble free for me for the last 20,000 miles and was so equipped when I bought it..

In the years that Gary Berger had this car, there was only one problem that I
recall. It had an early Pertronics ignition module in a stock distributor
that had partially failed (the early Pertronics seemed to have a limp-home mode),
and Gary being more of a show-car guy than a go-faster, actually drove it
this way for some time.... I think Roger Sharp found this at a Nor-Cal Tech
session and convinced him to s-can the module for a better unit. Dunno what
replaced it.
