[DeTomaso] Early 72 L?

I didn't see any replies, so I'll respond.

2384 is consistent with a 1/72 build date. It is WAY too early to have L
features in normal production,
which started around 4260 (August 1972).

It does not have Euro quarter panel lights or dash, so I don't think it is a
Euro car.

It could have sat around the Factory for 6-8 months before being finished.
Quite a few cars were treated this way.
(FILO inventory).

The Fuel gill started around 5,000 (although my 4580 has it).

It has a number of non-stock modifications, like the mirror controls, and
reclining seats, and sill plates.
The gauges (in the console) are in a different order (Temp on top), Euro
tail lenses, no rear emblems,
non-stock seatbelt receivers (female side)... but stock suspension and
cooling pipes...
The overflow bottle looks like a good recreation/tribute to the stock one on
the other side...

Summary:

I would guess a previous owner added the L bumpers (and other features like
the later Temp gauge),
to an Pre-L.

The price could be a little low, depending upon the condition (rust etc...)
of things we can't see in the photos.

What do you guys think of the car in the links below. A 1/72 build date
S/N
2384, L bumpers, two pod dash with later L-style toggle switches near
hazard
switch, and an external fuel filler door? How about the duel (one on each
side) coolant tanks? The ZF still has the rear mounts and what looks to be
L
model seat belts. As far as I know this would be the earliest "transition"
car I know of, any opinions?
