[DeTomaso] Bad head gasket question ?

Now that I force my memory, I do recall the old stat having a brass cap
and the new one not having one and me thinking: "what a stupid little
part, good that they removed it in the new version".

Maybe the stupidity was actually holding the wrench looking at the stat
:(

     Any auto parts store should have the Cleveland thermostat.
