[DeTomaso] hand brake ???

A friend with a couple of "Late Model" Panteras needs to replace his hand
brake lever.
(The ratchet + tooth part seems broken)

I have one.

We can't directly compare them, as he is 8,000+ miles away.

Does anyone know if a "Ford-era" hand brake uses the same
handle+ratchet+tooth part
as the 9000 series cars?

(I know the handle is located in a different location, which leads me to ask
this question.)
