[DeTomaso] Fuel Gage Reading

I got the car running finally today, but a few bugs to work out.  One I
thought y/all might be able to help with is that although I only have about
4 gallons of fuel in the tank, the gage is reading full.  I had the tank out
and cleaned/sealed, then back in the car.  Any typical things that could be
causing a full reading when it is not?

I'll pop the side window off and pull the fuel pickup and sender in a couple
of days and take a look, but I thought I'd ask.
