Cal,

The GT5-S conversion is not for the faint of heart.   Even the best 
sheetmetal can be counted on to not fit properly, requiring a fair amount of work.   
The fact that your car is already damaged will compound the situation.

The sheetmetal is expensive, then factor in another $4k for wheels and tires. 
  And it's a slipperly slope--a GT5-S should have a proper leather interior, 
which is a $7-8K deal right there.   You will probably need to lower the car, 
meaning adjustable shocks and springs.   Why not big brakes while you're at 
it?

It's not an impossible task, but to do it right you should budget about $50K, 
I'd guess.   This assumes the engine, gearbox, cooling system etc. is all 
perfect.
