Pat,

I would think not. I would look at electronics. This was a common thing in
the early electronic distributors when they got hot the car stopped. This
should be an EZ thing to find as the problem keeps happening. It will turn
into a parts swap test as the problem will not stay for very long if it
starts right back up. I have seen coils that are going bad act this way too.

When was the last time you welded on your car?

Hi, My car shuts off after 15 minutes from cold startup. Could  this be the 
contact on the copper arc in the switch itself heating up and  pulling away 
from the contact ? The restarts  immediately when I try again.  I had the
black 
plastic round part of it replaced  over 10 years ago.  SoBill what do you
