[DeTomaso] Ignition Switch Symtoms

Hi, My car shuts off after 15 minutes from cold startup. Could  this be the 
contact on the copper arc in the switch itself heating up and  pulling away 
from the contact ? The restarts  immediately when I try again.  I had the  black 
plastic round part of it replaced  over 10 years ago.  SoBill what do you
