[DeTomaso] Lean condition and O2 sensors(was fuel pump)

I did this to my exhaust system.  
  Bungs are cheep $1
  O2 sensors are about 25 to $30 each
  I wired them to two jacks in the glove box so that I could hook up a hand held voltage meter.  There is a switch to go from cylinders 1-4 and 5-8.  It would be nice to have a circuit to even out the signal, but it does work.  An analog meter would be better, it evens out the signal some due to mechanical lag.

Since my current engine rebuild is taking a bit longer than 
planned and the headers are off of the engine and car and your 
"best/simplest/cheapest way" outlined above is attractive and interesting, 
then.......

What would be the budget to obtain and install the above 
system? Sources and vendors?
