Yes,i can see from searching that there are several systems in the 300$
range, and some have a alarm function to warn the driver if something
wrong,so the eyes can be on the road and not on the monitor :)

I think there are a lot of O2 gauge/sensor kits available from Autometer and
others like this:

I agree, and that will in the same time give a indication of propper jetting
of the carb.Is there any available sensorsystems to install permanently into
our cars to get track of it when driving?

Actually the safest way is to use a wideband O2 sensor in the exhaust. Most
dyno shops can easily perform this service for you.

So the conclusion is,that you can have full pressure reading and a pump
thats doing its job,and still have the risk of empty the floatbowl due to a
restriction in the fuelinlet to the bowl.If you could watch the bowllevel
all the time, that will bee the safest indication.

If the gauge is tee'd in at the carb, then as long as your gauge is showing
adequate pressure, the pump is keeping up with demand.

It can only show full pressure and not providing adequate flow if there is a
restriction downstream of the gauge connection.
