[DeTomaso] Fuel Pump Question

So the conclusion is,that you can have full pressure reading and a pump
thats doing its job,and still have the risk of empty the floatbowl due to a
restriction in the fuelinlet to the bowl.If you could watch the bowllevel
all the time,that will bee the safest indication.

If the gauge is tee'd in at the carb, then as long as your gauge is showing
adequate pressure, the pump is keeping up with demand.

It can only show full pressure and not providing adequate flow if there is a
restriction downstream of the gauge connection.
