Joel,



If what you have are the Colt/Champ mirrors (these are the ones Hall
sold - electric version - years ago) then yes, the housings do slightly
vary.



Driver's upper right corner does not go to a point, but is cut off about 1/2"



Passenger side does go to a point in the upper left corner.


The housings are very close to the same dimensions, but while the
mirror glass does appear to be the same shape and size, in fact the
driver's side is about 1/4" wider.

Other than that though, they are mirror [ pun intended ;-) ] images of each other.



If yours vary more than this, you may have one of the Colt units and a later Mopar style that is also often used on our cars.



Replacement mirror glass is readily available on eBay - just search
"colt mirror" and then view ebay stores section for buy-it-now items.



If you do need to replace the glass, it is captured/mounted by an
overlapping edge of the plastic backing panel (no glue is used) which
can be softened in a shallow pan of very hot water, which will make it
pliable enough to allow the new glass to be (CAREFULLY) fitted.
