[DeTomaso] ORR Gathering in Burbank - LA Times photo today

  Last weekend we had our SoCal ORR get-together in Burbank. Jay Leno and Dick Guldstrand showed up to check out the cars and say hi. Had a good discussion with Dick about Pantera cooling and his early work with Ford, Chevy and De Tomaso racing.
   
  Large photo of 6-7 ORR cars including my Pantera as well as a good looking silver Pantera in the  L. A. Times (page C-7) newspaper today. Article showcased the Burbank Auto-books-Aerobooks store which is supposed to be the largest automotive and aviation books and merchandise store in the world. Place is huge and well worth visiting if you haven't been there already. 
   
  Lauri Ferrari came by and  I met and briefly spoke to the owner of the silver Pantera in the L.A. Times photo who had the 'other-Pantera' at the ORR gathering. He's interested in going to Silver State ORR this fall.  He lurks on the message board so maybe with some prompting the owner will share a little about his beautifully detailed Pantera.
