[DeTomaso] Clutch Slave Cylinder Health

All,

 

What is the collective wisdom out there on cleaning and rebuilding our
clutch slave cylinders?

 

Mine appears to have leaked at some point (some dried crystalline deposits
are on the bellhousing just below it), but it does still seem to actuate
correctly.

 

Any pointers for it's removal, disassembly, cleaning, reassembly,
installation, etc..?
