I gots the no idle blues,

  New Engine overhaul.
  Comp Cam 612 lift
  Mallory Distributor
Timing chain set at 4Deg. Ret.
ProForm 750 D Pumper no choke, mechanical secondaries
  10.5 Compression ratio
  A3 heads

The fuel pressure is about 6psi. (proform recommends 7 to 7.25)
Adjusted float bowl levels to recommended overflow past site hole.
I set the distributor at TDC and dropped into place with the #1 cap location. The engine ran good but could not adjust idle without adjusting 4 corner idle screws out almost all the way. Idle was at 1450 RPM minimum, and timing light reported 30 Deg BTDC without vacuum advance. I tried to rotate plug wires CW but no fire or pop. After driving the car around the block and shutting off the engine it would not start again. Checked the condition of the plugs and found them dry and tan in color.
Could this be a fuel starvation problem caused by the pump or small diameter lines? I am running AN6 lines from the pump to the carb with a regulator.
Thanks for your help in advance, this is driving me nuts, so close but no speed.
