[DeTomaso] EFI air temp sensor

Anyone (Kirby!) with a PPC Haltech injection system have experience with the air temp sensor.
Mine is obviously kaput...showing between 227c plugged in and -189c disconnected.  It's not a
thermistor (?) but some tiny transistor like device.  PPC is obviously closed today and it's bright
and sunny about 85 here so I was hoping to get something done.  Any thoughts or ideas about 
a replacement?  Thanks.
