The clutch master cylinder spring (internal) will push the pushrod back as 
far as it will go.   The adjustment of the pushrod in the clevis is what sets 
the clutch pedal height.   It is uncomfortable, but not too difficult to spin 
the pushrod between thumb and forefinger from inside the car.   Spin away until 
your clutch pedal matches your brake pedal, then tighten the locknut.
