Bob Timma makes a replacement fuse bos with modern blade type fuses. He sells them for the very-cery low price of $125 or something like that.....
I bought one last summer and am hoping to install it in 2647 before this spring.

I've had the exact same problem with a bad wire. It shows the proper
voltage, but whatever it's supposed to run simply doesn't run. The
problem, of course, is that the wire or fuse or whatever is barely
making contact, so it shows the voltage but cannot carry sufficient
current. These can be extremely frustrating problems to diagnose.
I agree with Mike that replacing the ceramic fuses with glass ones isn't
worth the trouble, but are there other alternatives? Do the Pantera
vendors make a form, fit, and function replacement for the Pantera fuse
block that uses modern fuses? And as long as I'm demanding answers from
everyone, why don't they make little circuit breakers for automotive use
instead of fuses?
Regards,
J. Sean Keane
